Tinubu reviving Nigeria’s economy, deserves second term -Kogi politician

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is injecting life into Nigeria’s comatose economy, says Barrister Henry Ojuola, a two-term assembly member and Deputy Governor candidate in Kogi State under the ADC platform.

Ojuola, speaking with newsmen in Lokoja, praised Tinubu’s efforts to salvage the economy, saying, “I was surprised some people say Tinubu isn’t doing well. His aspirations are good. If supported for a second term, he’ll create a country we’ll all be proud of.”

On Kogi state politics, Ojuola called for a power shift to Okun nation in the Western Senatorial District, citing fairness, equity, and justice.

“The request is long overdue,” he said, noting that Okun nation hasn’t produced a governor despite contributing to other tribes’ political success.

Ojuola emphasized Okun’s strengths, stressing that “education, industry, intelligence, management are the hallmark of the Okun man, an average Okun man doesn’t promote gangsterism, thuggery, lies,” he said.

Speaking on security in Kogi, Ojuola urged authorities to create jobs, saying, “unemployment fuels societal problems. A frustrated youth might join the underworld.

“You have a young man with no daily living… no option but to mix with them,” he added.

He advocated cautious scrutiny of community policing, fearing manipulation by politicians or the wealthy.

Ojuola also pushed for more support for security operatives_ to tackle kidnappings, killings.

“Unemployment is a significant factor,” he stressed.
