The Organisation of African Instituted Churches Nigeria Region is to collaborate with a South Africa based University to run degree programmes in Nigeria to train people in various disciples free of charge.
The National President of the Organisation of African Instituted Churches OAIC, Nigeria Region, Doctor Israel Akinadewo dropped this hint while addressing the congregation at the North Central Zone gathering of the body in Ilorin.
Doctor Akinadewo called on the people to have a free mind to worship, develop good character, humility and serve God diligently.
The National President urged the people to be faithful, work for the progress of the Organization and the Nation to ensure development in all ramifications.
He applauded the North Central Zone and Kwara State Chapter for keeping the flag flying urging them not to deviate from their callings of winning souls for the kingdom of God.
Also speaking, the National Trustee and Public Relations Officer of the Organisation, Bishop Raphael Nwankwo charged the people to embrace peace and stability to engender development and progress of the Nation.
Bishop Nwankwo called on the government to give roles and recognition to traditional rulers and religious leaders and also take care of them.
The National Trustee advised government to be proactive and pragmatic in their approach to governance, focus more on agriculture and not to engage in deceiving people because of the consequences of such bad act.
He expressed the hope that the country would be great calling on the people to have hope and put their trust in God.
The Chairman OAIC, North Central, Primate Martins Olobatoke explained that five states attended the programme and advised the government to stop borrowing.
Olobatoke advised politicians to change their orientation and serve the people diligently.
The Kwara State Chairman of OAIC, Pastor Ademola Popoola said the National President’s visit was the first to any zone with the aim to facilitate unity and harmony among members and also to pray for political and economic development of the Nation.
Pastor Popoola called on the people to put their faith and trust in God for the success of the Nation while leaders should follow the scriptures and do what is right.
The LOC Chairman, Evangelist Thomas Adeboye appreciated the participants and called on the people not to relent in praying for the leaders and the Nation.
