The Comptroller General, Kogi State Vigilante Service, Navy Commander Abdulrahman Adinoyi, says his recent visit to various command of the Vigilante Service in the state is to ascertain progress recorded and areas to consolidate on.
Commander Adinoyi stated this in an interview with Kogi Updates in Lokoja.
He said Kogi State has been on a positive dimension since the APC led administration by Alhaji Yahaya Bello noting that his visit to officers and men of the Vigilante Service is to boost their morale and work towards improving on established records.
The newly appointed Comptroller General said he will leave no stone unturned to improve on the records of his predecessor as expected by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
He affirmed that his men will continue to partner with sister agencies in the aspect of intelligence gathering to nip crime and criminality in the bud.
Commander Adinoyi also urged stakeholders in security sector to continue to work together particularly the citizens of Kogi State to end insecurity and crime, emphasing that the National Award received by the immediate past Governor on the aspect of security must be guided jealously.
On the Supreme Court verdict, the Comptroller General who emphasised that the victory was not a surprise to overwhelming majority of the people of the State said the Apex Court only affirmed the earlier position of the Tribunal and Appeal courts.
He urged Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to continue the agenda of continuity saying fillers from all corners of the State indicate that the All Progressive Congress has touched lives in all ramifications.
The visit was indeed a great one.
